In addition, she has an academic background of BA (Hons) Management of Sport and training in Sports Massage Therapy.

A passion to study Complementary Therapies began after experiencing firsthand their diverse benefits upon her own personal wellbeing, as they proved invaluable in combating any negative effects of intrinsically linked emotional and physical lifestyle choices. Her keen interest in various Martial Arts meant that she often experienced over-use issues and numerous injuries which had an impact on her performance and health. Additionally, along with a high percentage of the Nation, her emotional wellbeing was also under strain from the general stresses of work and home life. Receiving a combination of Complementary Therapies and Sports Massage she soon reaped the personal rewards of enjoying significantly reduced stress levels, a faster rate of recovery after participation in sport, and also after injury, furthermore, she reports experiencing general improvements in self confidence and overall wellbeing.

Since being converted into an advocate of the benefits of Complementary Therapy she has worked hard on the continuous professional development of both practical skills and academic knowledge, a list of which is below, and continues to do so in order to ensure that she offers an holistic service in alignment with our Mission Statement. In this way she aims to provide a professional, client centred service, promoting overall wellbeing in a friendly and approachable manner, consistent with current legislation and academic research, combining both the expectations of the client and the professional bodies to which she is affiliated.
